Hi! I'm a highly motivated student currently pursuing an Information Systems degree at the National University of Singapore. My pursuits are fuelled by a deep fascination with technology and its potential to revolutionise various aspects of life. This passion is reflected in my strong work ethic and a constant drive to learn new things and expand my horizons.
Student Life & Leadership
My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in programming languages like HTML, JavaScript, Python, and C++. I'm well-versed in web development frameworks like React and Vue, and I've gained practical experience by building applications during school projects.
This technical expertise is complemented by my leadership experience. I've held various leadership positions as the Overall-in-Charge (OIC) for BuildingBloCS SG, Chairperson for Infocomm, and Platoon Sergeant during National Service. These roles have honed my abilities to manage teams, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate others towards achieving common goals.
Beyond Academics
Beyond academics, I actively seek opportunities to apply my knowledge in real-world settings. My internships at ClassDo Pte Ltd as a software engineering intern and a marketing intern provided valuable hands-on experience in diverse areas of the tech industry. This thirst for real-world application extends beyond internships. I've developed a personal project - an automated financial report generator - that analyses companies' financial statements to assess intrinsic value for informed investment decisions.
I'm a firm believer in continuous learning. I actively pursue additional certifications awarded by various institutions and companies such as Google, currently focusing on mastering machine learning and data analytics.
Volunteering & Networking
My commitment to growth extends to cultivating a strong professional network. Volunteering at technology conferences such as FOSSASIA has allowed me to interact with industry leaders and like-minded individuals. Likewise, participating in various school competitions has not only honed my skills but also fostered friendships and provided valuable learning experiences.
